REGISTRATION OPENS JULY 3 AT 8:00AM

In anticipation of the fall release of the new Ken Burns’ PBS documentary on Leonardo da Vinci, WKNO and Creative Aging invite learners 65+ to join teaching artist Phyllis Boger for this 2-part silk painting Studio Course. Learn various techniques and methods for working with the dyes and brushes while exploring the inventions of Leonardo da Vinci.

This 2-part course meets at Dixon Gallery and Gardens on Tuesdays from 1pm-3:30pm on August 20 and 27. Must attend both sessions.

Da Vinci's Great Kite- Silk Painting is a FREE course for learners 65+ is offered by Creative Aging in partnership with Dixon Gallery and Gardens and WKNO. With additional support from ArtsMemphis, the Tennessee Arts Commission, and the National Endowment of the Arts.
