Visitor Engagement (part-time)

The Visitor Engagement position at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens is responsible for greeting all guests in a friendly and positive manner, and answering questions about the museum’s history, exhibitions, and upcoming programs and events.

Venue Rental Coordinator (full-time)

The Venue Rental Coordinator will provide professional customer service to business, social, and horticultural clients seeking information about rental availability. This position is responsible for responding to rental inquiries, preparing contracts, creating floor plans, and meeting target revenue. This position assists with calendar management and admissions.

Manager on Duty

The Manager on Duty is part of the Operations Department and will assist in all areas of operations. This includes the regular duties of opening and closing the museum, managing admission staff, assisting with building maintenance, visitor engagement, security, and event management.

2024 Internship Program

Internships will provide the applicant with an introduction to best practices in museums and public gardens, providing professional experience and useful skills for future employment and further study in the fields.

Interns may work six to eight weeks, 20 to 40 hours per week. All positions pay $15/hour. Applicants must be at least college juniors with sixty hours of college credit.
